Are you there in the clouds?

I like the idea that heaven exists in the clouds, even though I know it’s a lot farther than that to see you. It would be too relieving to look up and see you there in the clouds..too merciful…. No, you must be invisible, a feeling… It can’t be too easy.. Not all of the questions can be answered… We must live in clouded mystery about what exists beyond this lifetime… Are you there in the clouds?

I wish I could see what you’re doing now, if I could. Are you running marathons with Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln? Are you singing duets with Frank Sinatra or John Lennon? I would love to know the types of things you are doing and if you ever think about those of your family that are still here… We’re still healing by the way… I remind myself that you’re in a better place, free from pain…But sometimes I think selfishly, that you should have held on longer…

I hope you’re up in the clouds..checking in on us once in a while…Do you eat popcorn while watching us? I bet so… A large, no butter, Regal theater bucket… I hope you’re doing ok and that you visit me soon in my dreams….You can come down from the clouds once in a while….
